Childhood & Education
Kulman Ghishing was born in a small village in the Ramechhap district. He went to Duhu Secondary school to complete his childhood education. He went to Kathmandu and went to Bal Sewa Secondary School to pursue his further education. He graduated high school from Amar Adarsha Secondary School and completed his intermediate degree from Amrit Science College.
He became electrical engineering completing the degree from the Regional Institute of Technology in India. And later he completed his post-graduate degree from Nepal Pulchowk Engineering College.
Kulman Ghishing’s Career
On September 14, 2016, Kulman Ghishing was appointed as a Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority by the Cabinet of Nepal.
He had been working in NEA for over two decades before being appointed as Managing Director. He had been working in Chilime Hydropower and was chief of the Rautahat Hydroelectricity Project.
